Le Petit Cheval, a Bordeaux Dry White, is the result of a bold and ambitious endeavor launched by Château Cheval Blanc over a decade ago: to create an exceptional white wine on a terroir traditionally dedicated to red wines. Although the initial idea was to produce a wine for exclusively family and friendly consumption, the ambition to create a great wine quickly emerged, guided by the question, “If Cheval Blanc were a white, what would it be?” – Pierre-Olivier Clouet.
Perfectly representing the identity of Cheval Blanc, Le Petit Cheval Blanc has its own 6.6-hectare vineyard, formerly that of Tour du Pin. With dedicated vinification and aging facilities, Le Petit Cheval Blanc is crafted from 13 distinct parcels, combining vines grown on sandy and clayey soils.

Bright and remarkably fine, the bouquet unveils a blend of bergamot and citrus scents (grapefruit), accompanied by fruity notes (pear, white-fleshed fruits). Over time, the bouquet releases its freshness and minerality.
On the palate, the attack is lively and invigorating. Generous and creamy, it charms with its salinity, balance, and length on the palate.
