THE PROPERTY

Passion and love for a family tradition, which had already lasted for three generations, led Vito Catania, an entrepreneur established in Lombardy, to give life in 1996 to one of the most interesting projects in the Sicilian wine scene. The meeting with the oenologist Salvo Foti, who fully shared the project from the start, was decisive in this adventure. The decision to focus exclusively on autochthonous grape varieties, with the exception of Chardonnay, and to raise them according to the traditional non-irrigated alberello system, was followed by a commitment to environmentally friendly viticulture, which led to the organic certification of the production method.
