THE PROPERTY

A true legend of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation, Henri Bonneau, who left us in 2016, left behind him a great legacy in the world of wine.

The 6-hectare vineyard is planted mainly with Grenache (85%) with Mourvèdre, Counoise and Vaccarèse. The whole property is worked in a natural way as we worked the vines before the introduction of chemistry. With a strong personality, he continued to produce these wines as before. This involves low yields, natural yeasts for fermentations and long aging between 4 to 10 years. The concentration and extreme finesse associated with the concentration of the wines have seduced more than one wine lover. Rare wines, increasingly rare since his disappearance…

WINE

Iconic winemaker of the Rhône Valley, the Domaine offers us the Les Rouliers cuvée from a few rows of vines in the Gard planted with Grenache and a little Cinsault. The very rich and complex nose opens with a peppery note before giving way to plums and other ripe black fruits. On the palate, the smooth and velvety texture caresses the taste buds. The fine tannins bring volume and substance, leaving a nice length on the finish.
