THE PROPERTY
Since 1997, the estate has also offered a happy prelude, the Chapelle d’Ausone. Made under the same conditions as its elder, its lesser evil is to come from young vines destined later to produce the great wine. Next to the Cabernet Franc, the more present Merlot amplifies a crunchiness mixed with new touches of Cabernet Sauvignon. Elegance is still there, a motto of taste once again defended with passion.

The Vauthier family has been watching over the vineyard since 1690, with an unchanged passion for the land. Here, everyone reddens their hands in the cellars. Alain and his eldest Pauline, eleventh generation winemaker, make wine today, faithful to the spirit of their ancestors.

WINE

The nose is fine, delicate releasing fruity and truffled aromas. His nose is charming. The palate has a fairly lively but delicate attack. The texture of this wine is juicy, with lots of flavor ranging from fruity to spicier notes. The tannins are fine with a raspberry taste. The finish is silky and fresh.
