Émilie Boudot and her husband, Benoit Riffault, joined the family estate in Puligny-Montrachet in 2002. Here is an extract from the meeting with Benoit in January 2024:

How do you like to talk about your wines? A great Burgundy wine must have a certain structure, purity, and identity. That’s what I seek, in any case. I like to talk about it through the identity of the place and then, each wine must be constructed differently because it is born uniquely each vintage.

The “La Garenne” climate is located next to Puligny Champ Gain near Blagny. At the top of the hill, the soil here is limestone of medium density. The structure of the wine is about minerality and tension. A vertical construction which brought liveliness and elegance.
