THE PROPERTY

This cuvée is a blend of Garnacha and some local varieties of Rufete and Piñuela from high altitude vineyards in the Sierra de Gredos mountains.

In an effort to preserve ancient vineyards, the Mountain Wine Project was founded, in partnership with a number of local producers in two of the main mountain ranges – Sierra de Gredos and Sierra de Gata – to reinvigorate vineyards and support communities who exploit them. Produced mainly from very old Garnacha vines on granite soil, the wines are fragrant, delicate and fresh.
