THE ESTATE

Based in Chassagne-Montrachet, Armand Heitz has taken over the family estate and leads his boat with plots that awaken the taste buds just by pronouncing them: Chevalier-Montrachet, Pommard, Volnay, Meursault and also Juliénas. Committed, invested and hardworking. He is a wine producer, breeder of cows and sheep in Burgundy with the common thread: the terroir without filter.

THE WINE

“Nice balance on the palate with clear fruit flavors and liveliness with aromas of apple and lemon” Jasper Morris – Inside Burgundy

Grape variety : Chardonnay

Site : To the south of the Côte de Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet, along with Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault, forms the famous “Côte des blancs”.

Plot : Les Chenevottes is derived from the Old French word «cheneve», which means hemp.

Soil : stony and with clay, this terroir enjoys a good exposure. The wines are intense and aromatic.
