Château Marjosse is composed of 70 hectares of vines of which 54 hectares are dedicated to the production of red wine and 16 hectares to the production of white wine. The terroir is of great quality and the vines rest on a 20 cm layer of limestone which brings a lot of freshness and finesse to the wine. Further down, the soil consists of clay and sand.
The red grape varieties grown are Cabernet-Sauvignon (11.5%), Merlot (83%), Cabernet-Franc (3.5%) and Malbec (2%). For the production of Entre-Deux-Mers (white), we find Sauvignon Blanc (58%), Muscadelle (15%), Sauvignon Gris (4%) and Semillon (23%). This particular grape variety has won the heart of Pierre Lurton who has kept it and adjusted it over the years. Indeed, the winemaker has carried out work in the vineyard to plant new vines with a higher planting density. On average, the vines of the estate are 35 years old and are maintained with great precision and meticulousness in order to get the best out of the grapes.

THE WINE
An enticing nose of honey, white flowers and jasmine. A crisp, seductive mouth, with notes of yellow and passion fruits, a slightly exotic touch and a nice acidity.
Character and length, a beautiful proof of the great quality of the terroir that Entre-Deux-Mers can offer us.
